Considering experimenting with this. I know the deload week is there for CNS recovery, but considering a lot of people skip the deload week entirely for their first few cycles, it won't matter if I deload one lift every week, rather than a full deload week.
Eg.
Week One.
Bench 5x5
Squat 3x3
Deadlift 5x3x1
Press Deload
Week Two
Bench 3x3
Squat 5/3/1
Deadlift Deload
Press 5x5
Week Three
Bench 5/3/1
Squat Deload
Deadlift 5x5
Press 3x3
Week Four
Bench Deload
Squat 5x5
Deadlift 3x3
Press 5/3/1.
I know some of you are thinking: What? Deload in the first week? Once you finish your first cycle, it won't matter.
