    Bench too low? Knees way above hips..

    Need some input on this one;

    I've recently noticed as I started increasing my bench press, it's at 90kg for 5 right now, the bench is pretty low. I think this is limiting my bench press progression as my knees are positioned a good deal above my hips (or the rest of my body). My question is, is this limiting my ability to use leg drive and what can I do about it?

    Depends how low your bench is I guess, you should still be setting up the same but if the equipment is limiting you in anyway setting up properly (feet flat, legs tucked) then yes it may be affecting your results.

    Whenever I train away from my home gym I try not to bench for this reason

    Considering I can't see how low your bench is, I would do 2 things: Arch as much as possible and try getting a wider foot stance with your weight on the balls of your feet to limit how high up your knees are. I hope that makes sense.

    This. At our gym the benches are marginally low, so we slide about 1" blocks of wood under it to boost it up a tad.
