Sisters marriage of 3 years(bf of 10) seemingly perfect couple- failed (sister is 30)
Close friend just now told me he got separated with his gf of 5 years after only 1 year of marriage. They were seriously the friendliest couple. (dude is 26)

It is a catch-22.
If you get married young, you will get a beautiful, young girl, but you both may grow apart over time as you mature.
If you marry older, you will get an old, used woman with tons of baggage, but you will probably stay together because you're both settled into life.

broke up with my gf of 10 years just a couple weeks ago. relationships are just too unpredictable for me to ever consider making it "permanent." i would have married her, but i left her bc i didnt want to be what she wanted me to be. it was only fair to let her go find it somewhere else. my heart is too reckless for that kind of commitment.
