Supplements for a 16 year old trying to get big.

I'm sure this question has been asked but I can't seem to find it.

Right now I am taking creatine and a nighttime protein. AMP xxx amplified creatine and Raw Re-feed nighttime protein. I have Ravage right now as my pre-workout but am probably going to get Jack3d very soon.

I was wondering if there is anything I should be taking to get really big.

Or even something I'm taking now that you would suggest not to take.

Is there anything that works better than what I'm taking? Any advice helps.
    Thanks.

Food food and more food. The only ''supplement'' i would only suggest at your age is a multi. Supplements don't get you big, your diet does.
Head over to the Nutrition section bro.

Being only 16, you need to Eat. Food is the only thing thats going to make you big. Being so young you should not to rely on supplements, as you get older you will feel the need for supplements more, don't get dependent on them before then.

Supplements are a VERY small piece of the puzzle. focus on proper training and nutrition before getting into supplements. I wasted lots of money on stuff when I was younger when all I needed to do was eat sleep and train hard

I personally don't take any supplements now. No, not even a multi

No need for preworkout at your age. Should have plenty of energy to tear it up in the gym without it.
Eat well. Train hard. High quality protein powder and creatine (maybe) is all you need at this point.

What you really need to take is a large dosage of patience and consistent effort. That is what ultimately packs the size on....not supplements. My son is also 16 and it is what I "preach" to him in the gym day in and day out. Build the foundation. Heavy compound movements. Work to get stronger in those movements. End result will be plenty of size.

Eat whenever you want and as often as you want. meal frequency has no effect on body composition. it doesn't matter what you eat as long as you meet your personal macro nutrient needs. start with 1g per pound of body weight for protein, at least 35g of fat, and fill the rest with carbs. try some caloric intakes out and make small adjustments every two weeks depending on how your weight is moving (up or down). your goal for a bulk should be a 2 lb per month increase in body weight. this is an absolute maximum. i would continue taking creatine and a multi-vitamin

Don't take Jack3d. You don't need that ****, you're way too young. I would be especially careful after the young woman died after taking Jack3d.

let me show you simple math..

solid nutrition+good workout plan+nice rest/sleep=good gains year after year

    solid nutrition +good workout plan÷nice rest/sleep=ok gain

    weak nutrition+good workout plan+nice rest/sleep=weak gains

weak nutrition+bad workout plan÷nice rest/sleep=you can just dream about gains.

but seriously. good nutrition is the main key. all factors are important but nutrition is the most
    important.. example:

if you workout 3 times in a week with good workout plan, solid nutrition and great rest,
you would gain more than working out 6 times in a week with poor nutrtion and bad rest..
actually you will not just be without gains you can put your body in catabolic state, lifting hard 6
times in a weak without eating good and taking good rest

so, you dont need any supplements at all. forget those advertising tricks where you see jay cutler holding
creatine box saying "i am using this" this is called pathetic sale strategy and some companies are using that method..
100% natural and proud of it! (No PH's,DS's,AAS, etc.)

From 135 lbs to 227 lbs (naturaly and with severe obstructive sleep apnea)
Even with poor sleep you can gain thanks to quality food and good workout plan

    Food - srs.
Spending all your pennies on supplements and jack on your nutrition is the first step the failure. At your age and also being at the start of your lifting career you need to get in the habit of making the right choices/actions and not getting caught up in the hype of supplements.

Head to the Nutrition section and read the stickies...srs
It won't do you any good to have people on the forum just tell you what to eat, how much to eat, etc. Read up on the nutrition sub-forum stickies to get educated and then you'll have a better idea of how to make adjustments throughout the journey.
Whatever your calorie/macro needs are should be split up into meals that fit your schedule. There's no need for "exactly X number of meals per day every eating once every so many hours". If you make it fit your schedule and lifestyle you're more likely to stick to it and see better results.

    Common theme...nutrition.

and dont really bother if your friends use many supplements. they are wasting the money, not you.
many of those who use many supp, they have wrong focus. the focus should be on nutrition and not supps..
after couple of years with incredible good nutrition and workout program, supplement can be added
for extra boost. such as pwo etc.

Above, a lot of people say you should not be taking a pre-workout supplement. I encourage everyone to take one for a couple of reason. 1.) Obviously, intense energy burst. I use Cellucor C4 which I can honestly hits me the hardest. I love the tingling and itching from the beta-alanine, it makes everything light weight - Ronnie Coleman. 2.) Cellucor C4 contains No3 which is a nitric oxide booster. This helps increase blood flow and muscle pump in the gym. 3.) Cellucor C4 also conatains Creatine Nitrate which aids in muscle building. I also stack this with an external source of creatine other than the small amount in this. Only thing else I would suggest is Opti-Men multivitamin and omegas of some sort.

This is some of the worst advice I have ever seen.
No one cared who I was before I put on the calves.
