How to spend my money good, more Whey or Whey + Micellar Casein?

    Hey guys,

I have a limited budget to buy some supplements. I'm planning to buy Omega-3 thingies and also proteinshakes.
I can buy alot of Whey and use that or I can buy less Whey and also buy Casein for overnight.

    What would be smarter?

Don't get caught up in worrying about absorption rates. Both casein and whey are high-quality, and both are effective. There’s really no significantly better type. Protein powder just helps you reach your daily protein requirements. Choosing between whey and casein is like choosing between spicy chicken and teriyaki chicken. Personally, I like to get the best of both worlds by getting a protein blend of whey and casein.

I'm just starting with a cut with a few hundred calories deficit. I work out 3 days in the week using AllPro's work out.

buy the whey and add it into milk at night if you want a slow digestion protein, milk has casein protein in it and you can always add the whey to it for a protein that will absorb a little quicker

Buy a blend OP, most versatile. Wouldnt waste money on casein at all, pretty pointless.

If you have a limited budget, buy a good whey, casein and egg protein blend (usually they are more expensive than whey blends) or just buy a good whey protein blend and mix it with milk.
Better: eat egg whites and drink milk, and use some whey protein as required according your protein needs.

Casein really isn't necessary, you're not going to go catabolic overnight. Omega-3's are good if you don't eat much fish, and protein powder is only necessary when you can't make solid food or skip a meal. But it's always nice to have some lying around as a convenience type of thing if you're a busy person.
