wow ur fawkin retarded, calorie is just a unit of heat measurement, so 1cal=1cal

and the exothermic reaction associated with protein and sugar (carbs) are equivalent, being 4 calories per each gram.

and as for OP, this is very common for former obese people. they will get loose skin and it will go back to normal size eventually, but i hear it takes a long time depending on severity of obesity.

    my advice:

-cut until you cant lose anymore weight at 1800 cals
    -incorporate HIIT in ur cut
-slowly raise calories and lean bulk, making sure you dont pack on alotta weight, use mirror as guide
-tan to reduce the excess skin problem
-work out obliques, lowerback, upperthigh, abs to stretch the excess skin

When you say HIIT cardio.... The calories I burn, would I eat them or just let it further my deficit?

It would be the same as eatting 1800 cals and burning 200.. = 1600
As just eating 1600 cals right?

yes but HIIT has other benefits that are better then opposed to just calorie reducing. and going that low will cause future problems. jumping from 1800 to 2000 wont be a prob, but 1600 to 2000 will add much more fat due to your metabolism shifting and adjusting to lower states of caloric intake

The key to calorie reducing is to lose weight at the highest caloric intake possible.

nikkas these days cutting at 1000cals and losing weight successfully, but bouncing back from that will fk em over.

    i finished my cut at 1200cals and 157lbs... 4months later i was clicking 3000cals at 220lbs

    bulk not even once

    Goal: 6-8% BF by summer.

Don't lose heart mate. Will be tracking your progress, good luck

Also, were you slightly chubby as a kid? I was and had the same problem. Now trying to bulk up so that I can afford to have a higher body fat to show the abs
