lol? I didnt even have a peak week my carbs were low up until weigh ins this morning, squeeked in after dropping some water and depleting a little and weighed in at like 174.
I was very full on stage.
I ended up taking novice middleweight 1st place pretty easy and got 2nd place for novice overall...which was BS, they gave it to the lightweight who wasnt in nearly as good condition and was just thicker in the chest and arms, while my back was killing his, I was also in the middle for most of the call out until the end...bs.
Legs probably lost some detail by the night show from a quad cramp and posing them so much, I ended up being the only one who stayed on for both waves of open middles (14 dudes) and they kept me in front relaxed for literally minutes straight.
All in all NPC judging is retarded, and they run a pretty poorly organized and orchestrated show.

hey man, 1st for novice middleweight and 2nd overall (even though you did deserve first) is a killer placing for your first show. judging can always go either way, and thats the unfortunate part, and its in anything really. you'll come into your next show bigger and more conditioned for sure now that you have the experience down.

some pics just went up on MD, it was the lightweight winner you can go check out the comparisons. Some of them came out ok but they generally came out very meh because of the angles and taking pics at the wrong time, my nikka at alpha designs took a lot of stage pics of me and they should be out in a few days and I guarantee they are 100x better because hes a sick photographer.
Extremely angry with the NPC judging, not all pics are up for the competition yet but I just looked at the 3rd place open middleweight (they placed me 6th out of 14) and im just looking at the pictures thinking are you chitting me.
This is who they gave the overall novice to vs me
yes retard face, and tan was dripping because I was sweating balls after I was left on stage for literally 5 min+
You cant see it in the pics but my tricep had some striations, but I mean its clear who was better condition without a doubt

I'm gonna be joining LA fitness prolly and doing like half my workouts there this summer and half my workouts at home.
You should definitely come train with me if you think you can keep up with me, I'mma go insane this summer until I gotta start up stoopid new harder school in the fall.

looking sick up there Pete. all in all some phucking solid conditioning, you definitely came in leaner than the winner. glute/tri/lower back striations. i would say he had a bit more size as far as chest/arms like you mentioned, and his upper/middle back had a bit more thickness it seems. just goals for next time, you going to compete again next year or?
