Mens physique over 35

Doing my first over 35 physique competition in march. Any advice on tanning, final week prep or posing?

When you apply your tan and think you're dark enough, apply another layer or two .
Start practicing posing ASAP if you haven't already.

I learned that my first show, there is a difference between dark and stage ready dark. The lights really wash you out so you need to get very dark.

I know that a spray tan company will be at the show. Ive been tanning and have a nice base but do u recommend a brush on myself or a spray tan? Thanks

What was your prep like the final week as far as carbs and water. Thinking about just cutting water starting the afternoon before. Drink about 1-1/2 gallons per day regularly now.

Been practicing but it seems like for physique there's not a whole lot to work on. Trying to find which angles are best for me and working on smiling and looking confident. Any other suggestions. Thanks for the help.
