Should dumbbell flyes always be last in chest routine?

I have heard people that say flyes should always be last in a chest routine to finish off sort of like the pec dec, and I always see people in the gym doing flyes right at the end of their chest workout before they leave, but in Arnold's encyclopedia it says you should go heavy on flyes for mass so what's wrong with putting them second after bench?

Some BBers prefer to use flys as a "pre-exhaust" BEFORE they hit compound movements so they can feel the muscle they are targeting better..

I wouldn't go with "should always", but in most cases it makes sense to focus on bigger more complex motor movements first. Additionally, there are arguably some benefits to the stretch you get from flyes after doing heavy work.

I prefer it last as a finishing movement with higher repetitions, but it's up to the individual.
Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.

I have used them to pre exhaust my chest before and I know there are a lot of people that will do that also. Possibly even super setting fly with a press movement. It really just depends on what your trying to accomplish.

I switch it up, sometimes i use them before to pre exhaust as others have said and sometimes i use them as a finisher to push alot of blood into the muscle.

I would say switch it up as you see fit!

I feel like when you're talking about exercise order, there is absolutely nothing can should be "always" done.
