Just kind of curious how you go about accounting for food that you don't know the nutritional value of on myfitnesspal.
For example, if you go to a local restaurant and have a meal but the restaurant doesn't have a website that list nutritional info. How would you you go about accounting for the number of calories in that meal? Guess the weight and look up a generic item in myfitnesspal?
If I do this, I usually just assume that it's quite a bit of calories and try to have less calories at my later meal(s). In my mind, it's better to eat really light for the remainder of meals and still be under my intake than to go over.
How do you do it?

I did this last night....had a burger and fries at a local steakhouse. I just looked up the value of the same type item from a restaurant(in this case Red Robin) that is listed and let it ride at that.
That's if I'm counting...if I decide to cheat I just eat it and try to forget about it.^^Former 400+lb Crew^^

I usually estimate it, just look at the ingredients and estimate the macros of it and figure it out.
If I were cutting, I'd over estimate it, If I were bulking, I'll just try to accurately estimate it and not over-complicate things.
There's a way to plug your macros in Myfitnesspal by creating a Meal and add [Grams - Protein, Grams - fat, Grams - carbs] from the database, and simply put the estimated number for each one of 'em.✔ Calisthenics ONLY For MASS & STRENGTH.

I know a few restaurant chains here that actually come up on MFP, so what I'd do sometimes is find a comparable one portion wise and use it as a rough guide, allowing for a few hundred either side. That said, I'd also eat less throughout the day if I know I'll be in said situation. Next night out = Valentines day.
