I just wanted to stop by and say Hello. I'm new to this site not fitness. Just turned 50 a few months ago and living life. I've always been into sports from Football, Hockey, Baseball , running and MMA. I've been lifting off and on for the past 25 years but have gotten more serious in the last year or so. With more and more injuries i wanted to become more fit . I just started lifting aggressive again back in August 2012. Started out as 182lbs and out of shape to now being 205 and hitting the gym 5 days a week. I eat healthy and don't smoke or drink at all. I workout from Sunday to Thursday and take Friday/Saturdays off. Average training days is hour and a half of just weight training. Cardio is hard because of many knee injuries and a tear in my knee Cartilage right now. Opted not to have the surgery just yet. My goal is to be back up to around 215lbs. I can gain or loose weight pretty quick depending on my training. I also supplement with Allmax Mono Creatine and Neurocore pre workout and I-PLX isolate whey for a post drink. I try and tell people that just because your 50 doesn't mean you can't see gains. Most people don't believe how old i am. It is nice to go to the gym and have my daughter (20) and Son (22 ) struggle to keep up with me. The only problem i have is i feel burnout half way through a workout and i struggle to finish. Oh well that is a background on me and glad to be here.
