There has been multiple nootropics threads made in the last few days, xLGx and I thought that I'd be a good idea to put an official thread together to help answer questions and give out some advice to those who havent used nootropics before.

If you have anything related to nootropics to ask or share, do it! xLGx and I will help out as best we can, along with any other members that are willing to share some knowledge and/or experiences.

How many mg do you take of demiurge? Phenylpiracetam is incredibly expensive and impossible to find

Never really saw any benefit in taking it as a nootropic IMO, it has a pretty short half life. Only time I ever felt anything was if I took large doses on an empty stomach around 1.5g and that just gave me a really heavy buzz.

Hey everyone I just had a question, I know as long at your noot of choice has a COA you are pretty much good to go but has anybody ever noticed a difference in quality if purchased from different vendors? I don't know if it was just a cumulative effect or an actual difference while using from one source over another. Thanks for any feedback.

I'll start it off by saying if you are new to nootropics, a good starting stack would be SNS Focus XT + 1g ALCAR. Personally, I like to have a bottle of SNS ALCAR-500 for this purpose [even though you can probably find bulk ALCAR cheaper with other brands].

Has anyone weighed capped Aniracetam bought from SP? I don't have a milligram scale to do so myself, and I feel that the amount per cap cannot be correct.

Depends what you want to use it for? ALCAR has more acute effects, noopept is a racetam which effects increase with prolonged supplementation. If you are planning on taking it everyday I would choose a racetam over ALCAR (although ALCAR is great stacked with racetams as well). IMO there are better racetam options other than noopept, I didnt feel it was extremely effective. Pramiracetam, Oxiracetam, Aniracetam are the most popular. If you just plan on taking it here and there for studying, workouts etc, ALCAR and focus xt is an awesome combo.

I wish that coluractam and phenylpiracetam were more widely available and far more cost effective.

So far i have only used Piracetam at low doses 1.5-2g for about a 6 week period and didnt feel much except maybe a slight increase in focus. Also used Noopept as well with a slightly better experience. That was when i was first reading about nootropics in general.

Now that Ive done more research I kinda wish i would have tried higher and more frequent dosages for the piracetam.... Getting ready to pull the trigger on another batch and wondering if i should give pira another shot or try out a different one.

The half life of alcar is about 6 hours, so the effects will last a good portion of the day. I dont have any focus xt on hand right now, but I've tried the two in the past and loved it.

Honestly, I've found piracetam a waste of time. Pram would probably be of higher worth to you.

I'm also researching CILTEP stack, which users seem to have great results with. To sum it up in a nutshell, it requires 3 ingredients:
- PDE4 Inhibitor: Artichoke Extract, Quercetin
- cAMP Increaser: Forskolin
- Dopamine Increaser: L-Pheynylalanine, Caffeine, Ginko

I think CILTEP + ALCAR + Pram/Ani would be a sick combination.

This. I haven't seen a real need to go over 2g a day. On workout days, I'll take 1sc Focus XT + 1g ALCAR. If I'm not taking FXT that day, I'll do 2g ALCAR. On non-workout days, I'll split the dose 1/1 in morning and late afternoon.

As per Rhadam's suggestion to me awhile back, I cycle off for a month after three months of continued use. Some will say you don't need to, but I can't seem to find the study that he linked me to.
