Have a group of trusted friends working the party. Have someone at the front door to make sure ppl are not outfront/outside, have people try to keep party in the basement for the most part, and also, know youre rights when the cops come, they cant jusy do whatever the fuark they want
As far as making the party more fun, set a theme for it, get kegs on kegs, no byob bs, make sure plenty of sloots show up and have shots on shots ready, the sloots love shots
Follow these guidelines and youll prob have a solid party. im in a fraternity at my university and we throwm down nearly every day of the week so trust me op

-the neighbor came and kicked everyone out, cops never came.
-planning to have another party for her birthday (this is 6-8 months later)
GOOD IDEA vs. BAD IDEA: talk to neighbors and explain bday situation and say planning on having a small gathering of dearest friends and if they have any problem if it gets too loud/ect they can call me? or do you think they'll **** me over and call the cops and give them my number or something?
no i didn't use this idea from project x. people do it all the time. but this is a rich neighborhood with old ****s who have nothing better to do.
be ready to kick people out. drunk people are nearly impossible to control, i had to do it yesterday and a kid ended up breaking his nose.
the no bullsh*t lifter, the only excuse for failure is a lack of will.

Pretty much these^. Keeping people inside is real important if you don't want the cops showing up. Also try to talk down situations instead of just using force. Most people drunk enough to get in fights will quickly forgive and forget about it. But every once in a while you have to kick people out. Doubt you have this issue, but if you have randoms showing up that you don't know, just tell them its a closed party, if they say they know people in there, ask them their names, they will say some bull**** name, you tell them "no man that parties down the road" and point somewhere. Works all the time for me, we get tons of hoodlums and bums trying to get in our parties.

fakn joocy bra
depends how much you trust your neighbours/neighbourhood/friends
things can get out of hand pretty quickly, expect spills/people puking and such. If you invite more than 15+ people expect to be 30+ people because they'll bring friends. Then randoms come in, break **** steal ****, you tell them to fuk off, fight starts, etc.
I party all the time. **** like tis happened with a 100+ people party and 2 of my buddies got jumped by natives with knives. have a little get togehter and make it clear on who can come/invite
