    I just realized you are in NY, I agree w/ JLockleOSU about dean making you a bench that attaches to the rack but again you will have to wait for him to make it. Might take 2-4 weeks.

    I know texas strength systems makes a good flat bench that attaches to their racks, if you need any ideas.

    It surprises me how many people refuse to buy equipment from Elitefts because its too expensive but they will buy equipment from their competitors, then continue to go on EFS website regulary to educate themselves for FREE

    I think its just a bolt or 2 that holds it in.
    If you want to do it the cheapest and safest way to do it w/ your setup is, Once you get the R4 you can buy the rogue safety spotter arms and use the back side or front side of the rack as a designated bench area. You could bolt a flat bench down to the ground and use safety spotter arms as spotters. The bench and the rack would both be solid, just like you wanted.

    Hope that makes sense, Think of it as a half rack. And you will still have all the room on the inside of the rack to squat or whatever in the rack.
