    Left leg lagging after squatting?

Hey guys, i'm 16 and I do squats for strength training as part of my football training in high school.

My squat is going up at a steady pace (5lbs or so every week). My problem is that my right leg looks significantly bigger than my left. The day after I lift, my right leg is always more sore than my left as well.

When i squat, I don't favor either leg, so why is my right leg getting a better workout? What can i do to fix this? I really don't like isolation exercises when it comes to the quads.

Record yourself and watch your sets. you could be favoring one side unconsciously.

    Lunges are an option.

I agree with k9pit. You should record yourself and see if you are favoring one side or not. If you're not favoring one side, single leg extensions of single leg presses could help the size difference

maybe one leg is longer than the other. an inch can make a difference. over the years i have seen people post about the same issue and a few of them found this to be the problem.
    i'm hungry
