So right now I decided to enter my first bodybuilding competition (all natural) in august. I am 5'9 203 lbs with a body fat of 17%. My question is right now I'm bulking up eating 6-7 meals a day very strict when should I start to lean down towards the competition???? 15 weeks????. Also they told me to stay away from sirloin steak????

Bodyfat % is just a piece of the puzzle and in most cases, largely irrelevant. No judge is going to ask your % on stage. Come in hard, lean and full. Post some pics and someone can give you a more educated opinion. However, if you are in fact 17%, I would suggest 16-20 weeks of prep.
Who is 'they?" Why not enjoy sirloin? I eat it the night before my show.Max Fit Consulting

Steak is great. I down tons of it, just make sure it's lean. Elk & buffalo are great as well if you're a sirloin fan because they have a similar taste & are super lean.
If this is your first cut I'd give it more like 20ish weeks. You'll learn how your body responds but you wanna make sure you don't rush it...
