The real deal: Not only is this myth not rooted in any kind of fact, it's actually a misnomer in and of itself. Absorption refers to the amount of a certain substance that makes it into circulation (blood) from the digestive tract. The body will absorb a good portion of the protein you eat regardless of the amount of protein in the meal (though there's a limit to the percentage absorbed and it will vary between protein sources). What this myth actually refers to is protein/amino acid utilization. Specifically, what's the maximum amount of protein at a meal that will be used for muscle-building processes, and at what point does the amount of protein become excessive and the extra amino acids burned for energy rather than retained? At this point, researchers have no good answer to this question, but the answer probably depends on many various factors, including but not limited to:
- lean body mass
- length of time since last protein-containing meal
- amount of protein at previous meal
- type of protein source
- training state (Post-workout? Pre-workout? Resting?)
- total calories in the meal
- caloric balance
So I kept mine at 35gs, myth or not
If I copy/pasted a section of this to google, would I find you just copied an article verbatim? From previous posts it seems this language is a tad above your level...
*Sigh* nice try OP, nice try

It's an attempt to get you to take your negative troll comments out of this thread so it stays positive.
Listen dude, when it comes down to it, there's always million different sides to anything anyone says about body building and nutrition. High protein, High Carb, High Fat, absorption rates, macros, how to do cardio, when to do cardio, blah blah blah it's all relative to the individual. Somethings work for some but not others, nobody is the same, and everyone's body reacts different to nutrition and working out, that's why I encourage people to try things and think outside the box.
Weather how I did it was, in your opinion, based on "bro science" and "full of bs and cell tech" makes it all the more funny that the way I PERSONALLY DID IT NATURALLY following the guideline stated has YOU crying foul, it worked for me, in fact, it worked so well that you have to assume I cheated, do you find that ironic? I do! So with that said, I will no longer entertain posts about this subject as it's useless and leads nowhere, those of you who read this and actually wish to try something and see how it works for you go head, PM me your results, or tell me how you tweaked it to fit you better and those who believe I cheated go head and think it, no water off my back
Cheers!

Many of ^ have FB pages as well. There is a reason i have called you out on being wrong on just about everything you have said, and no, its not "Trolling" (which i now believe you have no clue what this really means). It is plainly because you are utterly, and completely wrong. On everything.
Have fun realizing everything you have stated, is utter bulls*it (Although i still think you do know it, your ego is just to big to admit it at this point)

"Success Can't Be Forced"
Found the article you copy/pasted, you left out a portion though, how come?
- "Although there's no definitive answer as to the maximum amount of protein that's beneficial at a meal, there's some research out there that is mildly helpful. Leucine, the amino acid that's an anabolic component of protein1 and is responsible for stimulating protein synthesis, was administered at different doses in rats to see what dose elicited the maximum protein synthetic response.2 The researchers found that the maximum beneficial dose of leucine was achieved at 0.68 grams of leucine per kilogram of bodyweight. This equates to about 62 grams of leucine in a 200-pound individual, which is an unrealistic amount to get from whole food. There are many problems with applying the absolute numbers from this study to a whole food meal in humans because of the differences in protein metabolism between rats and humans. In order to determine what level of leucine at a meal elicits the greatest anabolic response for the longest period of time more human studies will be required, but the research is moving in the right direction. While there's most definitely a maximum beneficial protein intake at a meal, no studies have directly addressed the subject and the number is likely to be influenced by various factors. So, pay no attention to Joe Dumbbell who says you can only absorb (insertgram amount) of protein at a meal, because he has no clue."
There is absolutely no beneficial reason to splitting meal intake and protein intake into multiple sittings and limiting yourself to 35g protein per meal (FYI This is the BIGGEST piece of bro-science that circles around) There is no other way to interpret -- "Body can only take in so much protein per sitting ( fact )" -- this statement, beyond the thought that you have no clue what you are really inquiring about.

WOW...someone is obsessed with me lol...I kind of feel bad for you at this point. You're literally arguing with yourself, are you that upset girly man?
Everyone will follow what works for them. As I stated, I did many things most sites say not to do ( had carbs 1 hour before bed for example ) You can easily Google pros and cons and find equal amount of "science" backing how it's good or how it's bad. Same thing goes for protein absorption from difference sources of protein and how I decided to maintain it at about 30 to 40g per meal, it's what worked for me, get over it little man.
When it comes down to it it's simple little guy, results speak louder than all the bs you have typed in the above 3 posts. In less than 10 months, this "clueless" guy did a transformation that has you A) crying like a baby B) still obsessing about trying to disprove me C) keep posting on the thread like you'll win something on the internet. Am I the only one that finds it super ironic that you tell me I know nothing about anything pretty much, yet the exact steps on how I did what I did yielded results that you think are "unachievable" you're just too dumb to realize how contradicting that is lol...
Keep following your "ice cream diet" that's why you will always look like...well, the way you look like...after how long??? 3 years?? grats... You have your way of looking and dieting I have mine, you gotta get over it
The videos you posted, all those guys don't look at all like anything I strive to look like or be thus I don't care what any of them say, you talk the talk then walk the walk. When I look for inspiration, I look at guys like Frank Zane, Arnold, Lou, etc... all of which followed strict diets and workout regimes and guess what, a lot of what they did and how they achieved can also be considered bro science now, but still, worked for them (even tho they obviously did roids) to each their own.
I will be sure to message you when I post my 1 year post so you can cry some more in that thread - And I will again post diet and how it was done for those who want to do it. Currently 6ft 180lbs 12% bf.
PS: I do cardio 4 times a week during a bulk, go google about how it's also bad and hinders growth lol...
Buh bye!
