I had a lot of happies yesterday, haha!
I don't really "do" Valentine's Day, so it was a relief to know I wasn't expected to dress up and go anywhere. However I did send some cheeky stuff to a couple of friends and wish them Happy V-Day on ********. The man got jealous and complained, so I f*cking made it RAIN on his wall and inbox. When I picked him up from work he told me that just before this happened he had been trying to explain to his female coworkers that I don't like Valentine's Day...only for them to see his wall and be like "WTF BRO YOU NEED TO GET HER SOMETHING." Best accidental troll ever! I laughed for like 5 mins straight because I know them and they were probably giving him helllllllll hahahaha!
After working out and getting home and putting away all of the clean dishes since the roommate apparently couldn't be bothered with it...I finally got to make myself some food. Had found and tried out a recipe for "pancakes" on Pinterest that is just a banana and two eggs mashed together. Last night I decided to make it fancy and added cinnamon, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract. Made two big crepes and stuffed them with sliced banana and plain greek yogurt - OMG MOUTHGASM. Easily one of the most delicious things I have made so far. So, so, so f*cking tasty. I'm still impressed with myself.
And lastly, just before going to sleep I remembered that I hadn't cleaned up the dishes from making my crepes yet and started to get up to do them - the man told me to get back in bed because he had already done them. Best Valentine's gift he could have given me - it really is the little things! <3MFP: mkjbarreto

About the video.... I'm sure I could figure out how to take one, but uploading it onto this website may be a lot to ask. I know, I know... I need to be smarter than the computer. But I'm not.
I'm still trying to find someone to hang out with that understands what I do with lifting. I don't compete, not like you do, but so many people don't get it.___________________________________________________________

Dat feel when your baby boy can finally make the kissy sound, blows kisses, and walks up to you with a book in his hand and then "reads" to you. Best feels ever

Since this is a happy place, I shall share my happiness in the fact that I actually took my trainers advice to eat more (which was really hard for me at first) if I wanted to stop spinning my wheels and she was seriously right. PR's all over the place!. I realize 65lbs isn't much to bench press but for someone who 8 months ago had almost zero upper body strength, and even 2 months ago was tapped out at 40lbs, I think that's pretty darn good progress. Yay for food! And for trainers who know what the heck they're doing
