Well, he timed Tor perfectly. He stepped in, saw that Tor was flat-footed, then threw out that STIFF jab that rocked his head back, and while Tor's head was up and his hands were down, he fired that laser cross across the button and got the KO.
Before that, he scored handily with knees against the cage, and even fired off some pretty nasty rights while Tor wall-walked after a scramble.Near, far, wherever you are...
...I believe that the heart does go on.
Once more, you open the door.
And you're here in my heart.
And my heart will go on and on.

Tonight is clint hester vs jimmy quinlin. Im thinking clint takes ut by tko. The trailer makes it look like hes got jimmy against the fence and jimmy goes down, of course those can be misleading and I havent seen a clint hester commercial lol
you wanna know how i did it, this is how, i never saved anything for the swim back.

As much as it sucks I blame Clint (and any fighter like him) for having such a chitty takedown defense. Again.... how are you a pro MMA fighter who's been training for months on end when you have no idea how to defend a shot at all? And WHY do these strikers insist on clinching with grapplers against the cage??? WTF?? As soon as you have even an inch of space you should be disengaging and backing off so that you can let your hands go and expose the other guy's weakness.
Dumb. Just dumb.
As the show goes on Sonnen is impressing me more and more as a coach and Jones is impressing me less & less.

Because the other guy has likely been wrestling his whole life? not saying you cant learn a lot in a few months, but there will be a huge difference in wrestling ability between someone who has been doing it for years and someone who has been training it for a few months, likely that training time is split between wrestling/bjj/striking as well. his takedown defense is probably not bad against your average mma fighter, though terrible against a pan am wrestling champion
i agree on the clinch partIf I'm on here, I'm at work
If I'm at work, I'm bored

Agreed 100% (all of that).
I'm actually also starting to like Sonnen more and more, and like Jones less and less. Guess I didn't know either of them at all prior to the show, which wouldn't help - just had Sonnen's "antics" to go by, mainly.
Many a time, it seems as though Jones is doing his damnedest to sabotage his own team... and then I remind myself (again and again) that no, it's waaaaay more likely to simply be that bizarre incompetence, awkwardness, lack of charisma, that he's been showing. Yeah, that'd be it. I mean, he's a seriously superior fighter, no doubt. But that doesn't make a person right for this job, by any means.

I've said this before, wrestling WINS BIG fights and will continue to do so. It has proven this in 2 very distinct fights now. Clint was like a fish out of water with his legs completely useless. He could still swing but he just got handled, and by handled, completely dominated on the ground. Jimmy switched from full mount to his back with the quickness, Clint had no idea what to do.
The fact that JJ did not work that much him on the ground was weak, he should've KNOWN that Jimmy wouldn't stand with him, Jimmy KNEW not to stand with him......
This isn't rocket science people.......

I agree.
Jones is like a Magic Johnson or Michael Jordan type.... phenomenal as a player.... chit as a coach/GM. Probably because they just have so much natural God-given talent that's impossible to teach or reproduce in others.
Although last night's fight (Andrew vs. Zak) was a bit boring too I enjoyed it. Andrew showed a TON of heart coming back after he was in some bad spots (and cut). I honestly thought that Zak would walk through him.
Can't wait for Bubba vs. Casey. I'm really hoping that both guys show a lot more than they did in their 1st matches.

What the hell was Clint trying to do at the start of the 2nd round though? It seemed like he was laughing and very confident at the end of the 1st like he just definitively won the round. So he got cocky and tried to shoot on Jimmy or something? Everything went downhill from there.

I hate how they show the previews for the next episode. It looked like both of them were winded/tired. I really wish I could remember what they also said about it being on of the best "insert description here" in TUF history. It made me think bubba got submitted but he wouldn't tap out and got his arm broken from an arm bar or bubba submitted out the other guy.
