    Time between sets?

    How much time do you guys take between sets? I usually go around a minute or so.

    Depends on the movement
    If its a bicep curl then I take about a minute
    But if its something like deadlifts or squats I can take up to 4-5 minutes if im lifting really heavy

    depends on the lift. 1-2 for most lifts but if im feeling really burnt out from a heavy set of squats or dead i will take as much time as needed

    3-5 minutes on everything pretty much, don't see the point of resting for less than that unless you don't want to be in the gym for ages. It's all about putting tension on the muscle, so why not rest longer so you are stronger for your next set

    Couple of mins usually for me. Though if I feel like a need more I'll usually head over to a bike just to keep my heart rate up. Then head back.
