    Deadlifts and Squats with no ACL?

    I just found out i have done my ACL (3rd now...) No cartilage damage though.

    Is it recommended to avoid these exercises?

    But yeh I would seek professional advice or try with small weights to see if it may cause further damage...

    I agree squats are the most overatted exercise there possibly is. Great for bulking legs and strengthening core. They won't do anything else for you. Try leg press mite be more comfortable

    No offense to anyone on here, but I wouldn't be taking advice on something like that from people on this forum. Get checked out by a sports physician, physical therapist, etc. They can address your personal needs a lot better.
