First post - I see there are a trillion threads like this- so I am not suffering alone-
I am on a 1500 calorie diet to try cut - eating my macros-
Stacks of Protein
Somehow in the last 2 weeks I have gained 1kg -
I am not huge at approximately 68kg/1.66m
Probably hovering around 15 - 16% BF
BMR is calculated at 1600
I lift 4 times a week albeit for about 30 mins a session (at home)
Abs every 2nd day wednesdays and weekends rest.
Am I undereating????
Thinking of going up to 2200 calories and seeing if anything comes off.
A while back I wrecked myself with undereating (Didn't realise I was undereating) was consuming about 800calories a day - been on track at 1500 for about a month now.
I also seem bigger from a muscular perspective but this wouldn't make sense either as on a calorie defecit muscle gain would be tough.
Current Diet [Approx]
Breakfast:
2 eggs
1 slice whole whear
Tomato
Snack:
Fruit
Lunch:
Chicken/Green Veg/Starch
or
Chicken wrap + cottage cheese [1 cup]
Dinner:
3 x whole grain cracker bread
1 cup cotagge cheese
peppadews
1 can tuna
Post workout:
Protein shake
