    Teen Creatine Use

I've been going to the gym on/off for the last 6 months. My football season starts in 2 months and I've been wondering what creatine, if any, would be most beneficial to me.

I currently use International Protein Superior Whey and go to the gym 5/6 days a week including some cardio for pre season.

I can not honestly say creatine would hurt you, but I would not recommend to someone under 18. Basic mono is the first thing to try and 3-5g with plenty of water.
If you not feeling the burn your not pushing hard enough.

Why wouldn't you recommend to under 18? I'm 17 and have seen readings where it says that kids as young as 15 are recommended to use it.

We should not be recommending supplements to kids under 18. At your age, eating a ton of clean foods and working out hard should be enough. You are just about the best you are ever going to be in terms of opportunity for growth and improvement. You shouldn't need supplements right now.

    This.

But, adding Creatine Monohydrate (3-5 grams/day) could benefit you with strength and size gains. Just make sure to drink plenty of water, develop a solid nutrition plan, and to get plenty of sleep. This will maximize your gains and performance.

    Good luck!

It's just for a pre season gain. I am roughly 12 weeks out so I am just wondering how beneficial it would be creatine loading initially just for speeding up gains and size. It won't be constant loading or use.
