Oh well.. my 5th starter gets moved to the pen and has about a 27 era right now and my left fielder needs shoulder surgery.. I think everyone has lost someone, if not its bound to happen with only one bench player.. we're all gonna make it brahs

lol I just hate not having a pretty effin key position(catcher)... I mean Suzuki will get to start pretty often but it'll only be to spell Ramos who is lookin juicy as fuk.
Any way we could drop/add a player? I know people would take advantage of it so make it so you can only do it once a month or something, or make it so you gotta drop two players to add one.
if not, I'm open to trading just about anyone not named Trout for a catcher.

Bump. Early in the season but how are y'alls teams doing?
C - Kurt Suzuki - .360 / .485 / .800, 2HR/5RBI
1b - Brett Wallace - .042 / .115 / .042 ****ing LOL, benched already I think.
2b - Jedd Gyorko - .236 / .328 /.291, 6RBI
SS - Ian Desmond - .310 / .317 / .569, 2HR/3RBI, leading MLB/tied in extra base hits last I checked
3b - Will Middlebrooks - .182 / .220 / .436, 4HR/7RBI
LF - Josh Willingham - .222 / .417 / .472, 2HR/5RBI, currently injured I believe
CF - Mike Trout - .300 / .354 / .483, 1HR/5RBI
RF - Tyler Colvin - AAA lol
SP - Matt Moore - 3GS, 18IP, 10.00 K/9, 5.5BB/9(yikes), 1.00 ERA
SP - Jarrod Parker - 3GS, 11IP, 10.8ERA, lol
SP - Hisashi Iwakuma - 3GS, 20.2IP, 2.18ERA
SP - Trevor Cahill - 3GS, 18IP, 3.5 ERA, 9.0K/9
SP - Mike Fiers - lost rotation spot to Lohse fml, 8+ ERA tho in roughly 7 innings pitched, don't feel like loading the site back up to get exact stats
RP - Sean Burnett - 1.42ERA, 6.1IP in 8 appearances
RP - Drew Storen - 5.1IP, 3.38 ERA, 10+ k/9. He's given up some runs but his defense behind him has let him down
LRP - Craig Stammen - 6.2IP, 9+ K/9, 5.4ERA
Closer - Rafael Betancourt - 5 saves, 7.1 IP, 1.23 ERA
Bench - David Ross(C) - .200 / .250 / .400, 1HR/2RBI, only 5 games played though
Lots of inconsistency. Way too early to rate bullpen ERA as they are all such small sample sizes but outside of Stammen(who I think is just having some hard luck) it's solid. My rotation has 3 good starters in Moore(dat ace), Iwakuma, and Cahill. Parker seems to have been downright awful in his 3 starts and Fiers doesn't even have a spot in the rotation anymore. Lineup has a few players starting off extremely well(Desmond, Trout, Suzuki). Willingham has a damn good OBP and will do what I drafted him to do: get on base, hit tons of homers, and drive runs in. Middlebrooks and Gyorko have disappointed me. Wallace is ****ing LOL. Colvin isn't even in the majors.
Can't wait to see how the teams are at the ASB. I'm cray bored right now so decided to do an update but this'll prob be my last one till then.

Arsenal FC
Lineup is hitting .285 and Encarnacion is finally mashing. Pitching is hovering around 4 ERA but 2 are sub 3 and Zito inflated it badly with his last start. Only 2 errors by my whole defense as well. I am pretty pleased with my team so far. Dat feel when your #6 hitter is hitting .330 hnnnnng.

dat ace

c-Jonathan Lucroy - .226/3/19 ...well, obviously not gonna hit like last season...average defender...eh...
1b-Anthony Rizzo - .261/10/30 ...producing, great defense, just has to get the average up...
2b-Dustin Pedroia - .322/2/22 with 33R, 8 steals, and .420 obp...guy has been solid...great production from 2B...
3b-Lonnie Chisenhall - .213/3/11 (Sent down to AAA)...I was ****ed with this position, picked late...hoped for more, early disappointment but he will be back, Indians were high on this guy...
ss-Jean Segura - .351/7/20 ...14 steals...guy has been stellar...and his defense is stout...my biggest steal so far...
lf-Matt Holliday - .270/6/28 ...34 runs scored...disappointing a bit, still has time to pick it up...
cf-Starling Marte - .304/5/17 ...33 runs/10 steals...(natural center fielder IRL but obviously McCutchen has that spot)...great start, it'll be seen if he can maintain...
rf-Mitch Moreland - 289/10/24 ...playing out of position this season, but has outfield experience...typical hot/cold guy...running hot right now...
bench(1)-Alex Gonzalez - .184/1/6 ...how bad was his knee? he's been pretty terrible this year playing all over the place for milwaukee...i don't know if he makes the entire season...
bench(2)-Oscar Taveras - stuck in AAA...may not even see him til september...
sp-Yovanni Gallardo 3-4 4.50/1.46 43K/21BB ...huge disappointment...has lost control and confidence, looks lost like rest of Brewers staff...
sp-Dan Haren 4-5 5.54/1.43 36K/8BB ...velocity down, but has been pitching better...control is there, but he's not the guy he used to be...
sp-Jason Hammel 6-2 5.57/1.52 42K/22BB ...he's been dependable, but last couple weeks have been tough...
sp-Miguel Gonzalez 2-2 4.25/1.29 27K/14BB ...injuries have cost him starts, but he's been effective...ERA comes down and he'll be a nice end of the rotation guy
sp-Jorge De La Rosa 6-3 3.40/1.31 34K/20BB ...late value and coming off Tommy John, he's been better than expected...
rp-David Robertson 3-0 2.79/.82 26K/4BB in 19.1 IP ...he is one of the best set-up guys and doing his thing...
rp-Jake McGee 1-2 7.94/1.70 23K/10BB in 17 IP ...somethings up, he was lights out last year...lefty specialist...
cp-Joe Nathan 1-0 2.00/1.05 14SV 17K/7BB in 18 IP ...not completely dominant but does his job...
Overall, this team is capable of competing...
Pedroia and Segura will be on base a lot for the meat with Rizzo and Holliday...this team should score a lot of runs...
No big holes on defense, overall probably a bit better than average although the outfield with Holliday and Moreland leave something to be desired at the corners...Marte can cover a ton of ground, though, as a natural CF...
The bench isn't going to provide much at this point...
Starting pitching has been decent...if Gallardo comes around this will be a solid rotation, he's having problems going more than 5 though with high pitch counts and uncharacteristic control issues...Hammel has pitched better than his numbers look, and Haren has bounced back a bit since a terrible first couple of weeks, though needs to be more consistent...Gonzalez and De La Rosa definitely have made up for a couple of the top starters struggles...
Bullpen is good, though the lefty isn't pulling his weight...if I can get to Robertson and Nathan I'll win a high percentage of games...
Keep scoring runs, get some better starting pitching, and if Taveras can make the jump to the majors and take over for Moreland in right I'd root for this squad...
++ Positive Crew ++
Brewers and Packers brah...
