Hi everyone, Ive been getting alot of motivation and tips from these forums and wanted to throw a help request of my own out there. Thx in advance for any advice/help.
Im getting back into gym after many years of being rather sedentary and poor diet. I do have some formal lifting background as I was into wrestling/sub grappling in highschool as well as lifting, at one point considered myself in relatively good shape at around 190ish 12% bf at 6'0. After so many years my body seems to hang around the mid 160s, been back in the gym though now for 75 days and Im feeling stronger and more energetic/healthy again so I feel like Im ready for a bulk that Im embarking on now, I havent even entertained the idea of cutting yet as I dont feel I have enough 'frame' at the moment to be the least bit satisfied. All I have is this electronic scale that has me at 171 at the moment and says im 18.5-19% bf...I dont put alot of stock in its ability to give me a decent bf% so until I can get a legitimate test done Id really appreciate any estimates anyone feels they can make. Yes the boobs are all me no gyno haha...I find myself with a rather annoying fat distribution tendency in the chest it seems when im not particularly lean. No flex in pics.
So yeah basically any bf% estimates would be helpful, any other advice also, I know I basically need to work on EVERYTHING.
+on a side note im pretty happy with my macro breakdown and diet for bulking now but im finding myself filling in alot of the extra calories after reqs with additional fats (healthy mostly)...it really makes me feel better and tons of energy but is this something that im gonna regret or is less efficient than just rounding it out with carbs? thx alot.
