I guess the argument that would be provided AGAINST me is that the US has gained world wide supremacy and we need to obviously maintain this "supremacy" and we do that by going into other countries and asserting our dominance, I guess it makes sense, but from my perspective since I am the product of the US being successful perhaps its just easy for me to point fingers and say "we're bad".

On real tea i think the military is mehh. They're fighting another person's war. I mean, we still have troops in the middle east. there's going to be soldiers there eventually that weren't even alive when 9/11 happened.. Why can't we all just get along? Why can't every nation come together and try to make the world a better place? Imagine all the world's top people working together to build a better future/.... too bad everyone has a small peepee and isn't willing to give up power...
But i do have the utmost respect for veterans and people in the military. It's not an easy thing to do, so kudos to them. Appreciate their service.

This idea that our rights, freedoms, and even way of life is just here, granted from God or whatever, and nobody would take it from us if they could, is about the most ignorant yet sweetly innocent view of the world.
I have heard from some Canadians, Australians, and many other UK based nations that the US Revolution was a waste because well, they didn't revolt and got their freedoms anyways. Is that right? Well for hundreds of hears, the nations revolved around kings and queens, monarchs. Basically everyone was a slave and they were the masters. People lived under these born in dictators, no choice. Well when the Americans stood up against it, it put the monarchs on notice. Opened a lot of people's eyes. If you know anything about history, they didn't just give up control. However, it's almost going back to that but instead of monarchs, we have bureaucrats. Their day will come too, and it may be bloody. People today still have this idea that we need "leaders" to tell us what to do. One day, someone is going to wake up and realize we don't need them. I think it's the only fear those at the very top really have.
