Yeah, get a low SPF and apply often. That way you can stay out longer and will have at least some kind of protection. Still will need to listen to your body the first couple of times though. Once your skin starts getting hot(at least most of us should know that feel) time to take it inside because applying more isn't going to help at that point.
edit- thought you were talking about going outside

It isn't necessary but if you are going to get tanning lotion, the ones they sell at the salons are WAY overpriced. You can get a big bottle of tanning lotion for like 10 bucks at a Salon supply shop. (Sally's)
Make sure you wear the goggles to protect your eyes.
EDIT: Just realized I'm not sure if you're talking about indoor or outdoor tanning.

Used to work at a tanning salon. Banged tons of sloots. Sloots used to leave panties in the tanning rooms (srs)

Unless you're pale as fhck lotion isn't needed. Chits gay as fhck. Been tanning for years and never peel or burn and I've always had a joocy tan. Just don't go too often and slowly build your tan. Acquire tan and disregard peeling/burn. Profit?

Buying a solid tanning lotion makes all the difference. Just talk to the bish that works at tanning salon for some recommendations. They are expensive but last quite awhile

anyone able to recommend some stuff on amazon? probably the easiest way for me to buy it, the tanning salon is fully automated so no one works there

Lettuce be cereal OP - tanning beds are likely to give you cancer and make you look like a leathery old hag by the age of 30. Use some fake tan.

Go on eBay and find some super dark tanning lotion... you can get it online for 80% less than you'd pay at a tanning bed.

This, as long a you're not going every single day for 30 minutes a day, your risks aren't as high as you think. You have a greater chance of dying in a car accident on the way to the tanning salon.
Of course there's always going to be that extreme example as with any other activity.
I go just once every 4-5 days for 12 minutes and that's plenty to keep a tan.

UConn brah
OP I tried to find the one I used to use on Amazon but no luck. Just search "men tanning lotion" on Amazon & get one that has good reviews, but dont buy anything with a bronzer in it yet. If you're starting out you just need a lotion to keep your skin moisturized so the tan stays.
Later on is when you need bronzing & all that fancy ****. But honestly..not necessary. Leave that to the b*shes and phaggots. Also absolutely do not buy it from the salons

Go to your local wal mart or walgreens, they sell tanning bed lotions which is like $ 8 bucks a bottle. THose tanning lotions at the places are a rip off, but yes you should def use lotion and use the protective eye wear. Also your not suppose to shower for like 2 hours after the tan.
