new gym in my city 35Pence per workout!!
The membership cost me £100 for 15 months or £6.99 a month. I average over 20 workouts a month and that breaks down to £0.35 per session!
Its also has the biggest free weight area of any gym in my city with dumbells going up to 75KG (165Lbs), multiple squat racks, cages, tires, sledgehammers ,heavy ropes, boxing ring.... Looking forward to having a play with it all.
its a 33,000 square foot warehouse so was a little chilly in there buy hey who cares at the price as you soon warm up.

I had to ask Siri what 35 pence was in us dollars.
Wish I was paying that little.
There will come a day when I tire of listening to 80's music. That day is not today.

^^ this.
At my old gym/health club I was paying £46 a month which averaged out at £2.30 a session so its a big money saver. Just have to convince the wife that we don't need the Sauna, pool, outdoor pool, tennis courts, squash courts, bar, restaurant.... all of which we didn't use anyway!

Where in the UK are you? When I was living in London, the membership prices were super high! That's a major score!

I used to live on the outskirts of Oxford in my Forces days, £240 is a pretty good deal for that area.

Sounds like good value. Rare to see gyms with heavy DBs around here. Some chap broke one of our 85Kg dumbells the other day dropping it after WSM style single arm presses. More than one rack also puts the main fitness chains to shame.
Edit: I joined a freshly opened budget commercial gym a while back, had to move after a few months because it rapidly became horrendously over-subscribed and getting on equipment became a real pain in the arse. Hope you have a better experience.

Not quite 6am to 10pm can't ever see myself wanting to workout outside of those hours so I'm good to go.

I'm super jealous! I pay over 500 sovs a year for mine and that's including a two month discount for paying in one hit rather than monthly. Mine's not even open early enough for me to train before work, either. Sucks.
Where is this gym?

Lucky. My gym plays utter tripe - chart pop in the main gym and then Kiss FM in the free weights room. There's nothing worse than trying to bust out a PR to some R&B lovesong. Blech! (I'd take a personal stereo of some kind but I hate sticking things in my ears. And I don't have the money for one at the moment anyway).
