I went back to the latest thread made on here and it was literally this: "Just a bruised sternum from getting punched, can i just suck it up and workout since its just a bruise"
Gtfo.
I'm with you bro. Damn stupid threads. It's always better to repeat the stuff of no importance than talk about sternums.

Charles,
Each person here has a subjective opinion about what is "overrated" based primarily on his own experience, or worse, due to casual observation of others without knowing their training parameters. Most of this is not particularly useful to anyone outside of the person posting it, hence the mocking of this thread.

This doesn't make sense. I simply stated that squats are overrated in a way since people claim that they work the arms, I did not say that we should look for other alternatives.

The dead lift is extremely overrated for back work. Rack pulls do a much better job for back work than deadlifts IMO.

You never read any SS thread then. The majority of those threads clearly outline to not do direct arm work, squatting 3x a week works your entire body, you will grow all over.
Thats why squatting is so overrated on this forum, you can thank SS for that, and a million people who barely lift who preached the hell out of it.

I think everybody knows that you hate this thread so much, no need to clarify your stance. What I don't get is that you're wasting your time on it, why not just ignore it?

I think donkey calf raises resembles calf raises done in a leg press machine. Only, donkey calf raises concentrates the stress more on the hams and calves.

Expecting chest or arm muscle growth when doing squats is illogical, even if it's a full body exercise. It's just like expecting leg growth when doing flat barbell bench presses or even deadlifts. In deadlifts, you use leg muscles too; but you don't expect much leg muscle growth just because of it. Ultimately, it's the combination of your exercises and diet that determines your gains.
I think all exercises with "spotters" (who actually help you lift the weights) are overrated.

Any form of calf raises, beyond any shadow of a doubt.
Honorable mentions: leg presses/hack squat machine.
