True, but personally i find bodyweighted or weighted chins/ pulls do far more for bicep growth then any isolation curl would. They also require core stabilisation and lat recruitment. Kill two birds with one stone. Though bicep curls do make a great finisher exercise. More of a desert than a main course.

Military press. It primarily hits front delts and pecs, not lateral delts. If you do enough horizontal pressing, this seems to be unnecessary. For shoulder development, db shoulder press is much better.

wow anybody talking smack about squats obviously is either a woman, or hasn't squatted anything over 135 lb
obviously if you squat for 3 reps with 100 lb, you aint gonna see **** for growth...maybe you people should man up and force the growth in your weak ass body....all the pros are squatting....only people that aren't are you noobs that are too attatched to their skinny jeans
anyways my pick for most useless exercise = tricep pressdown lolz

Funny how squats rank so high up in "over-rated." Many (majority?) of recreational lifters would happily neglect their legs, and straight out avoid "dangerous" exercises like the squat...
I'd reserve the term "over-rated" for something that doesn't produce promised results, or is completely worthless...

I agree. Many many people place it on top of their list as best excersizes to do. Is it truly number one? Well, maybe... Maybe not. But it's damn close either way. If it truly deserves a place that high on the list of most effective excersizes, then, by definition is it overrated? I don't believe so.
In my gym, the most overrated I feel is the bicep curl. It surely has its place in almost everyone's workout program, but does everyone really need to do 10x if different curls all the time.
