time traveling already does exist. Ever had deja vu? That is your future self coming back in time and assuming control of your present self. Your surroundings and what is happening seem like they have happened before because you have already experienced that situation once. However your concrete memories of that situation, and everything else after that point is lost when your future self becomes your present self.
