In case my text is different from yours, here is a rundown of what the two are...
Straight Percentage Method:
220 - age = estimated maximal HR
maximal HR x intensity (say 85%) = target HR
[(maximal HR - resting HR) x intensity (say 85%)] + resting HR = target HR
