When to take Creatine on rest days.

Well, I know on workout days I'll be taking my creatine with my PW shake. But on rest days I plan on just taking creatine with some water.

I was wondering, is there an "optimal" time to take the creatine on a rest day?

I wasn't sure if taking creatine on an empty stomach (like at breakfast) would make a difference or not.

You are supposed to take creatine everyday while "On" cycle. On workout days make sure you take it after your workout. If you want to you can divide the dose into 2, one before and one after. On NON-workout days I would take it with a Post Sleep shake(whey, dextrose) and just throw in your creatine. If you havent been taking a post sleep shake I would think about taking one because your body is in a state of catabolism when you awake and taking that shake is the fastest way to diminish the catabolism. I know I got off topic but I had to, to tell the optimal time to take your creatine on NON-workout days.

actually no offense bro, but i highly disagree with a "post-sleep shake", especialy if it is whey and dextrose. that is IMHO about the worst thing before you go 2 sleep. Plus, there is no point to it, becuase your body will adsorb the protein so fast becuase of the spike from the dextrose there is no way in hell it will last you through the night.

ill stick to my cottage cheese at night.

I think you think I put Pre-sleep shake not Post Sleep Shake

    Hey man-
I see that you misinterpretted my post. For Pre-sleep I most definitely recommend you keep your cottage cheese going. Now what I was saying about Post Sleep is to take whey+ dextrose+creatine upon waking in the morning...exact opposite of what you thought it was. No harm done though just wanted to clear things up.

You should take it right before you go to sleep if that's what you guys were thinking. Your muscles grow when you sleep so it would be most beneficial then.
