I'm ready to start lifting heavier but am scared the sheet will break me.
Example 1: I know I can do an overhead tricep extension with a 100 lb dumbbell but am concerned I will fall over backwards/snap my back. srs.
Example 2: Barbell curl with over 100 lbs scares the crap out of me - will I wreck my back, tear bicep. I asked a guy to spot me on the 100 lb barbell when I tried to max out on it with bicep barbell curl. The guy looked at me like I was a total ****.
I have more examples but am you get the point.
Is it mental? Am I forever on the ****gy time?

I wouldnt be too worried about your 1 rep max curl/overhead tricep. And if you are that nervous, do a 3RM? Im sorry but i do not understand the problem. Also dont curl with your back! Sorry i couldnt resist.

If you have great form then don't worry. I would not be concerned with 1 rep maxes on those tho. Move up weight gradually, if you find your doing a weight for 12-15 easy with great form, then move up. Don't just jump up to the weight to do it, if your form is good I wouldn't be concerned with injury.
