Part of my adulthood, I thought all I needed was muscles, charm, and aesthetics to get what I wanted from life (money, women, etc)
I was right about aesthetics, but what I found out that FACIAL aesthetics were more important.
Why even lift when it's all about your face? What sort of life are you really living when your face is 5/10?
I think people on here should be focusing on their facial aesthetics more than anything, and if they are not blessed with the right face, take a good look at yourself in the mirror, then go out there and what you are worth.

Bro I've been to powerlifting meets and competed. Did strongman workouts, flipped tires, etc. Then I thought, what am I really accomplishing here? All these 'muscles' for what? We have machines to do work for us. I sit at a desk all day. The only thing that matters in society when you look at them one on one is your FACE.
No one is looking at your 'biceps' on the streets. NO they are looking at your face when you lock eyes.
I mean I can deadlift nearly 3x my bodyweight, but what does that have to say about my face?

Facial aesthetics may be more important for most people, but a lot of people can't change the way their face looks to a 'dramatic' extent. You can alter it to be more aesthetically pleasing, but only to a certain extent. You can change the way you look physically by a much larger extent, so why not at least do something you can 'actually' control, and lift those weights, and take a multi. It might not count as much as facial aesthetics, but it sure counts when you go to the beach and sloots be mirin

You can't change your face but can change your body. You can't lift weights with your face so what's the point of worrying about your face anyway? You've got what you've got. It seems to me not worthy of any thought, other than keeping clean and well groomed.
If you're tired of weightlifting which it sounds like you are, maybe take a break for a while and do some other hobbies/sport and see if the enthusiasm comes back. You're right that most don't 'need' muscle, it's just a hobby, so if you don't want to do it no one is forcing you.

Sounds like a pretty awesome hobby to me.
While modern society does place emphasis on physical aesthetics.. they're not everything. If you have a 10/10 symmetrical face, but are a complete dickk and unhealthy, people won't like you. If you're 5/10 face, but healthy look with a good aura, people will respect you and be drawn towards you.
