    Advice for Rugby Fitness please?

    Hey forum,
    imnew to the site i was wondering if anyone had any workouts for strenght, speed and agility im a rugby player going on my second year playing and really want to get much more fit for this season does anyone have any advice or recommendations?

    I focus on compound lifts and some olympic lifts. Deads, clean and press, front squats, rows. I will work in some dumbbell days and conditioning with some of the guys from the team.

    Today was a sprinting and calisthenics day.

    lift heavy, get stronger man. as for fitness, all you can do is just run a lot. do sprints, other high intensity conditioning drills, and every once in a while go for a distance run (~3 miles or so, don't go for 10 miles or anything ridiculous like that) to focus on endurance.
