Hi guys,
I know there are plenty of calculator sites that give you various exercise/intensity options along with height and weight but I was just wondering if there is a more accurate way of working out maint calories and what an ideal deficit is during a cut?
My stats;
age 36
height - 5'11
weight - 175-178lbs
General workout routine currently - morning weights 70-80% max weight, higher reps and smaller breaks - followed with 45 mins low intensity on the stepper ( 640 calories at my weight/level based on machine screen ) - I repeat that same cardio in the afternoon/evening and do a bit of core each day with it. So going off that 1280 calories burnt in cardio and roughly 40-60 minutes of weights ( 300-400 cals??? ) depending on gaps between and who's on what machine and my current diet in which I'm on about 2.2k calories is there a more accurate way than clicking dots on a pre-made calculator on a website? My job is a systems engineer so I'm basically stationary through out the day other than toilet breaks, lunch time and the round trip to work ( 3.0KM walking - about 17 minutes each way at my pace )
I'm hoping there is a better way to work it out and find the "ideal" deficit. Try hold off any comments on my workout routine and current calories in my diet if you can haha just after an equation or formula of some kind, if it exsists!
Thanks heaps in advance for any helpful info!
