What I look for:
I'm looking for focus, strength, and vascularity. Creatine is nice, but I really like beta-alanine tingle and L-Arginine to make my veins look like they will rip off my muscles. I motivate myself a lot and seeing my vascularity in the gym pushes me even harder.

Late entry, hope I made it in time...

I want a preworkout that gives me that extra edge during a workout. I want to feel like RAAAWWWRR, but not feel sick to my stomach. Some of them make me so jittery that I just end up feeling sick during the workout. I want to feel like I can do anything, but not be all shaky and nauseated. I've recently tried a 1 serving sample of a BSN preworkout and I liked it very much and have considered purchasing. I'd love to try some more. If I like it, you're likely to gain a new loyal customer.

Please write 2-4 sentences describing what you look for in a pre-workout supplement? The most important things I look for in a pre-workout supplement is the energy content, what is supplying that energy content and other underlying factors like the correct dosages for each ingredient, and creatine vs non creatine. As far as energy goes, I am a stim junkie....but I dont like an overload of caffeine in one hit. I do use caffeine spread out throughout the day, so that it doesnt affect me in one huge lump sum. Even though caffeine is caffeine, I do enjoy the anhydrous type or a caffeine combined with green tea extract or yohimbe. I do like creatine in my pre-workouts, just to have that extra oomph. If it is not contained in it, its not a big deal since I use plain ol micronized creatine anyways no matter what.

Also, it's been asked time and time again and never gets old: What gets you hype before training?? I have a meditation ritual before any training session in which I sit and try to focus on different aspects such as the task at hand, what I need to accomplish in that training session, try to clear my mind of all the worldly distractions and stresses and then its go time! I put on my ipod and depending on the lift, I will switch to some songs that really get me going. Here are some below that help me grind out some reps....

I play soccer twice a week in the spring, summer and fall seasons, and practice indoors 3 times a week during the winter. Our current league games start in a few weeks so I’ve been practicing up to 1.5 hours twice a week. In addition to soccer, I head into the gym 2-3 times a week. I do 20-30 minutes of cardio and 30-45 minutes of lifting weights each workout. A quality pre-workout is a must. I need a pre-workout to give me long lasting energy, doesn’t give me jitters, and lets me down nicely (no crash). While it’s not critical, it’s always nice to have a pre-workout that has a clean and refreshing taste.

Also, it's been asked time and time again and never gets old: What gets you hype before training?? Song, Video, etc.. Post it!
