How much does the average girl PLer lift?

Girlfriend is sophmore in hs, first meet was saturday.

Lifted

Bench: 150 could have got 165 but bar slipped (1st place in weight class)
Squat: 160 (failed first 2 attempts and didnt want to bomb so didnt go too hig past her opener, like 6th place in weight class)
Deadlift: 200 (6th in class)

Under 220 weight class, trying to get to the 198s


Is this decent? I was suprised by the other girls in her weight class, all startinf with 350+ on dl but on bench max with like 80-90




also the coach has them basically do bench one dau, squat the next, and so on, no accessory work or anything, is this optimal?

Your gf is 220? Not to hate but she is bigger than you. Eat more.

honestly, there is no average for anyone. if anything looking at median would be better so that you don't get outliers effecting the average (ie girls with huge totals making the "average" look a lot higher than it really is). but it really doesn't matter what she lifts, because most girls don't compete, nor even lift weights int he first place, she will be doing much better than any others.

no idea on average plus it depends what level you are talking about. From what I've seen from girls who lift... that bench is solid, squat and deadlift not so much though

look up usapl meet totals for high schoolers or even collegiate nationals. steve mann just hosted the ne regional high school and collegiate meet. also robert keller's meet early december in king of prussia had a bunch of high school lifters

My wife has been training for 4 months <130
Squat 165 5x3
Bench 75 3x5
Deadlift 175 3x5, pulled 195 for a single after.
That was last week, not sure if that helps but there ya go.
