Which protein is the best????

I've heard a lot of good things about trutein...I have a 20% off coupon for this site, which flavor would you say is the best tasting?

I get asked that question quite frequently. I always tell people to go with whichever flavor appeals to them the most, and that's a surefire way to be satisfied. They are all just about equally delicious in my book.

Personally I like Trutein's choc over CPB, however for Wheyology I prefer the CPB over choc. Kinda weird but that's just my preference.

If your looking for the best tasting with water, I would say Giant Sports vanilla. If your looking to have it with milk, any of these other choices are good.

I agree with Giant Sports being amazing in water too. Even in water it mixes thick, and I am a huge fan of thick shakes. Cookies & Creme is my favourite Giant Sports protein.

I tried to search the thread on this topic but my search isn't working, and I want to make my purchase soon.

I've used Whey before, but couldn't bare the taste enough to drink a lot to notice a difference. I'm in paramedic school so I'm going to start forcing myself to drink it because I need to build muscle.

I'm looking at casein because I see that you can drink it at night before bed. I'm also looking at Hydrolyzed Whey since it works quicker.

Which do you guys recommend?? Also how often should I drink it? Daily, every 3 days? I work out every other day if that helps.

I would say go for any Whey Protein and if your not on budget constrain pick casein too.
The side alternation that can be done with Whey Protein to make it slightly slow digesting is that you could blend it with 8oz of Skim Milk and a Banana just before sleep.
Go for Chocolate in any brand, it can't be that bad.

lol this guy is on here asking which is the best then you have 8 guys all pushing their rep'd product. Personally I like Trutein and ON 100% Whey. I have gone through at least 2 tubs of both and like the taste and gains from both.

BodyBuilding's Platinum series Protogen is delish. 30g of protein per serving too. Muscle Pharm Combat Powder is a close second for me. Cookies and Cream and Vanilla flavors by both companies is hnngggggggggggg.

For taste I'd say ON whey or casein but for value you can't go wrong with Nutrisport 90+. 5kg for £50? Sounds good to me. The chocolate and banana are actually pretty good but the vanilla tastes like baby sick

Yeah, the vanilla really mixes thick in water(I like the vanilla better in water). I like the cookies and cream better in milk though.

Protein, is protein however, if it doesn't taste good, you're not going to be inclined to take it when your supposed to to get your full daily needs. The better the personal taste, the better your chances of having success with your results and supplementation.

to reply to the other poster: I haven't really tried any other proteins. I have taken ON Gold milk chocolate for awhile. I take it just with water. It's fine for me. Honestly, anything equal to or better tasting doesn't make much of a difference to me. I just want the protein to help me make the gains that I want. I am not really over consumed with one product over another just because of taste. As long as it doesn't taste horrible. I'm about to try some syntha-6 for pre-bed and post workout.

tough guy bullsht... aside. if you're talking a protein supplement that's not food. and aren't overly picky with calories. I personally LOVE bsn syntha 6 flavors of chocolate peanut butter and cookies n' creme.

for functionality ABB Pure Pro is hands down the best rtd on the moment. they're void of that gross after taste that plagues rtd's and theres ZERO clumping. I honest to god can chug one like it's gatorade post workout.

You really don't need a casein, slow digesting type protein before bed. Any type of protein will do; I'd just go with one you enjoy the taste of and has a solid BCAA profile. I personally enjoy NF Pro.
