So with your logic, you would trust a surgeon who have not done any open heart surgeries before but reads a ton of books over a surgeon whose had experience and done a bunch of open heart surgeries before? notsureifsrs
You can read all the books in the world, but if you don't apply it then it's fking useless.
As for me personally, this.

haters gonna hate. went from a 90 pound anorexic to building quite a solid amount of muscle. i remember when he first started his channel and was talking about IIFYM and everyone thought he was a moron. until eric helms, matt ogus, jeff alberts, ryan doris etc. all said they agree with his information. stop being dumbasses and give this kid his respect. he puts out solid information based on research instead of 99 percent of these douches that spread misinformation.

But the thing is, all the guys that ian attacks have had chiittty starting points until they used smaller, denser in nutrtion meals and intense workouts to achieve there phyqsiue.
Ians fame and foundation comes from attacking people...thats all, he has no solid evidence nor a proper understanding of how enzymes work and why eating in one portion is not optimal for bodybuilding

He is ruining a good name.
"Come over here, then," I said. He responded with, "You come over here.'I didn't hesitate. I got up and walked over to the foot of his bed.

I don't even 'hate' him. But the guy's attitude is in such a form that I can understand why people do.

Influence of the feeding frequency on nutrient utilization in man: consequences for energy metabolism:http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1905998
In the short term, meal frequency and a period of fasting have no major impact on energy intake or expenditure but energy expenditure is delayed with a lower meal frequency compared with a higher meal frequency:http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11319656
Acute effects on metabolism and appetite profile of one meal difference in the lower range of meal frequency:http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18053311

Lyle McDonald’s Meal Frequency and Energy Balance:http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/res...ch-review.html
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19943985
This study shows there was no difference in weight loss between subjects with high/low meal frequencies.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9155494
Evidence supports that meal frequency has nothing to do with energy in the subjects.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11319656
Yet again, no difference in energy in the subjects compared to 2 meals/d to 6 meals/d.

Nope...he's studying philosophy...FREAKING undergraduate philosophy, not physiology, biochemistry, sports nutrition. He's just as qualified to coach as my 13 year old niece with an iphone and access to wikipedia.
I wouldnt say a damn thing if he were debating fellow philosophers about Descartes, Socrates, Plato. BUT...to hold a seminar about bodybuilding and charging people for it while wearing a freaking cheap suit to pretend to be a professor. My goodness...smh. He has to be the most narcisstic 19 year old around. If he wants to debate sport nutrition, my advice to him would be, quit your freaking philosophy degree and go enrol in a proper science degree in nutritional biochemistry. Then, maybe we can talk about credibility.Last edited by Forum; 01-24-2013 at 12:03 AM.

He's gone and attacked Jason Blaha again today, calling him a liar and a coward. Jason had done nothing to provoke this, and he is a highly experienced and knowledgeable guy who puts out scientific - based information. Basically, he is like Ian, but has the experience to back it up, doesn't take 25 minutes to explain how to do a bicep curl, and doesn't act like a ******* to other youtube users.
Either Ian does this because he feels threatened by people like Jason, who also talk science but actually look like they lift, or as was said it is just a cynical way to make money from views. Either way, he is insufferable.
