TNS makes a whey isolate, called ISO-ology, but I strongly prefer the taste and thickness of Trutein. Plus I like the various sources of protein. I only recommend whey isolate to individuals with lactose intolerance or those who want slightly less calories per serving.

Pumpkin Pie is a limited edition flavor, and I'm not sure why bb.com doesn't carry all flavors in 2.5lb size. I think it's because people rarely want less than 5lbs of Trutein.

Both are delicious. Vanilla tastes like real Vanilla Bean ice cream, and the Choc Strawberry is very much so like the name.

All of the flavors are delicious, IMO. I wouldn't really go to much by store ratings, as they can be easily skewed/manipulated.

The chocolate is pretty unique to others that I have tried, and also uses 3 different types of chocolate to flavor it.

That flavor might be less distinct compared to the others, which have unbelievable scores above 9. However, I would pay very little attention to store ratings, and I would never consider 7.8 a bad score. To put it into perspective, a movie on IMDB with a 7.8 would nearly make the Top 250 list of all-time greatest films . If you like chocolate protein, you'll undoubtedly like Milk Chocolate Trutein. The flavor is lower in my personal rankings simply because I've consumed enough chocolate flavored protein for one lifetime.

I couldn't decide between those two either the first time I ordered Trutein, so I snagged them both. A week later I picked up a tub of every flavor. Good memories.
