I just started taking cullucor C4 at around the beginning of January, and I've been noticing huge amounts of breakouts. I had very bad skin last year but went to the dermatologist, went on medicine and it went away for about a year up until now. This PWO is the first thing I thought of when I was trying to think of why these sudden break outs are happening because I thought of the caffeine and other stimulants and the old saying that the caffeine in soda causes acne. I'm not in any way saying I know anything about the field of dermatology but I'd like some of your guys' knowledge on it. thanks

How old are you? And how severe is the acne and what location on your body? if you are a young male you could just have a bit of acne and this is completely normal. I am 24 years old, and have had mild acne since I was 14, it comes and goes. I would recommend getting a prescription for the cream Benzaclin (always works) - don't waste time with completely ineffective non-rx products such as Proactive or neutrogena that have multiple application steps.
It is unlikely that C4 is causing any problems, most likely something else in your environment, but who knows. Correlation does not mean causation. How do you react to beta alanine?

i am 21; going on 22 in 2 months
not acne prone
eat same foods everyday...count macros and same diet to the precise
train same time everyday and sweat can't be measured but its roughly the same as always
decided to try c4 about valentines... broke out in acne 2 weeks later ... above eyebrows/forehead/cheek
going to quit c4 and go back to old stuff...never had this issue before and c4 is the only "change" in my routine/diet
googled acne & c4...seems quite a few people are experiencing this outbreakFB: Jonathan Franyutti

From my experience OP, it is either the creatine or the beta-alanine. I have been suffering from cystic acne (or similar inflammation) on my back, chest, and sometimes on my neck/face for 2 of the 3 years I have been lifting. Money has gotten tight (minimum wage at a gym woot. Job interview today. Wish me luck ) so I've cut just about everything out of my stack. My back has largely healed, and my chest is reduced. I haven't had creatine or BA for maybe 2 months now. Picked up 5 samples of White Flood Reborn, which has BA in it, and what do you know, breaking out again after just 3 servings. After my current small breakout heals, I'm going to try creatine w/o BA to see if that too, causes the problem.
This situation sucks, because if I am indeed allergic to BA, most PWO products contain it."I don't think you realize, I am going sky high"
