Starting a fat burning stack as opposed to using nothing (57lbs gone with no fat burners) for these last ~20-25lbs... Here's hoping the secret weapon works! XD

i could definitely use some motivation! I'm so horribly new at this. I've only been working out in 10-20 mins increments through the day. anywhere form 1-3 times a day. i did this beginner bootcamp youtube video by fitnessblender yesterday and im semi-sore and fairly stiff.....
lol so im such a newbie at this its ridiculous. i really just dont have any fitness structure. I'm basically wingin it until i can kind of figure out what works for me. Any type of structured commitment scares me off :-p so maybe just the "good job" and "we got this" type of thread is just what i need
ps i added this after posting: i've only been at this about a weekLast edited by MexaHime; 01-25-2013 at 07:53 AM. Reason: added

Jump on in! This thread is all about motivation and it certainly has helped me to stay on track. Losing weight is about being consistent and we PM our weights to Nitro every week. It's as fun as you want to make it

i own an old school scale. i guess i can run down to Kohl;s and get a digital one. I use my boyfriend's digital one at at his house, but i dont know how reliable it is because i weighed myself and it read 186 and i was SO excited and then i moved it to a different spot and it read 194. and so i was like whaaa.... i only moved the scale like 3 feet from its original position.... i dunno. i really dont eat very well either. but these past few months i've concentrated on changing small bits of that. from craving high calorie breakfast burritos or McD's Mcgrittles to making egg white omelet with fresh veggies!! it was delicious! :-) lol. its slow slow slow. but everyone says its a lifestyle change. cause yesterday i ate a hamburger for lunch and then two corndogs for dinner ;-) but the day before i had chicken breast for lunch and green beans. and a protein shake for dinner. lol. soooo... i'm not anywhere near to where i want to be. but im trying. and i'm hoping something in me will click. and i guess i should specify that i've only been working out for like a week lol. i've been trying to implement small diet changes since about Oct. i used to eat chinese take out once or twice a week. now its been about a 3 weeks since i've had chinese food. so thats a great accomplishment for me :-). i concentrated on NOT eating chinese. that was hard. so thats what i mean by slow. i'm trying to literally change one thing at time or i get overwhelmed :-(

But i think i will make that my goal this week. to really sit down and try to understand that read. :-) thx! and great job on your progress photos. i really hope i can find my motivation that will get me to where i feel like you look! lol.

You have to count the calories you eat and make sure it's below your maintenance if you want to drop weight.
http://www.1percentedge.com/ifcalc/
use it, input the data, it'll set your calorie goals. make sure you set it to "lose fat".
then its just a case of you following it..

Alright, 6'2", already cut from 225 (after bulk) down to 200, but my BF is still like 22% according to my electronic scale.
I've been lifting Starting Strength for a year now, tremendously stronger than I was. Now switching to Jim's 5/3/1, but this isn't about that; this thread is to help me lose bodyfat. I wouldn't mind if it's slow, but I've been stuck at 200lbs for a month now, and I gotta get down to the rest o'them abs by July.
I fight the urge to Bulk CONSTANTLY. I always want to bulk to get stronger/bigger as quick as possible. But the mrs says she doesn't want the bodyfat, so I promised her abs by July!
Gotta make it happen!

I know one thing once I lose this weight im not gaining it back. I dont like dieting plus it stops muscle gains for me. I want to be 146 at the end of this and then take a 2 week break and resume cutting again.
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.
