Morning Peeps!! Weighed for first time since last Friday, only up 1.2 from my low weight. Not too shabby considering I ate bad this weekend with Friday easily being a 5k day. Should be on track to get down to another new low by Friday of this week. Sore, did chest/arms last night and Legs on Sunday. Tonight I think I will do cardio only. Hang in there. Summer is less than 3 months away!

I kinda doubt that. Trolls usually last a week or two, but she was around for a long time wasn't she? There was also too much **** that was just TOO unreal not to be true, you just don't make that kind of stuff up!

And well, that's the one kind of person I can't feel bad about. We've all been in the situation she was (is?) at. We've all been massively ignorant in everything nutrition and training, but there's a huge difference between not knowing and being irrationally stubborn when everyone tells you what you're doing wrong and what you should do in order to fix it.

I'll gladly spend hours teaching someone about the ins and outs of proper nutrition and training, but I honestly can't put up with people who willingly choose to remain ignorant and are seemingly okay with failing as long as they get to keep doing what they've always done.

They expect to drop 50 pounds in a day cause all of a sudden they tried really hard that day and ate perfect and then give up. They never truly start or commit to making a change but they can say I have tried all these diets and none work I must be big boned, thick, have bad metabolism, poor genetics or a thyroid problem (yes I know some do but less than 1%).

It's sad really and frustrating I tried to help a lady I worked with when i was dropping weight steadily and she was doing weight watchers and eating crap she didn't like and not losing a pound if anything gaining and it was because she may have been good during the day but I knew at night and on weekends she made poor nutrition choices consistently. So now I rarely share and try not to get into these conversations with people at work as when i tell them how "simple" it is they almost always immediately have an excuse or many that come up. "I can only lose weight if I do 1 hour of cardio a day no matter how little I eat" "The kids and my husband won't eat the things I would need to switch to" "I can't stand the taste of water or diet soda" "I love sweets so much I just have to have them"

I want to just say well then you don't really want to lose x pounds or fit into x size jean etc as all those excuses can be overcome if you truly want it look at me I love sweets I prefer regular mt dew to diet mt dew I have kids and guess what they don't like eating the same stuff I do especially as often as I do, I liked eating 4k+ calories a day why do you think I weighed over 300 lbs. You know what though all these small sacrifices are worth making for the bigger things. Besides I know that I can occasionally eat those sweets like this coming sunday and I will likely enjoy it more that I did when I ate poorly daily.

Sorry for the rant but people like her really drive me crazy it's more I think they just want attention than anything.
Well said would rep you but on spread!

San Diego is becoming a craft beer hot spot! All the while I have reduced my beer intake to practically zero. Oh well I like my new waistline better than the beer.

I didn't get a weigh-in on Friday because I was out of town. Birthday parties, cake and pizza were not good to me :[ As of last night, I was up to 141. Really, really hoping to get to at least 135 by the end of the month, with my final goal being 130.

Congrats for all of the losses this week, and for the gains - there's strength in numbers, there are a few of us! We can do better next week for sure :]

just checking in since I havent been posting for awhile. I've been fighting this urge of laziness towards dieting and working out. For some odd reason I am finding it hard to keep on going. I thought getting out of the college settings to where I could prepare my own meals would help a lot but I found out im much more able to be strict when im not able to cook my meals. I dont know whats going on but these past 2-3 weeks I have been maintaining when my whole goal was to get and stay in a deficit. It could be too that I was working 50-60 hr weeks and I was definately overworking myself.

Lousy day at the gym yesterday, I think I'm getting sick... but I think I'll be on track to lose a full kg this week. I don't really want to hit the gym tonight but I'm going to, followed by a loooong sauna.

You've been dieting for a while now and you look great, man. Take a well-deserved break. I mean, don't pig out and destroy all your hard work... but a month of maintenance eating isn't going to hurt you, you know?

167lbs so the water weight is coming off nicely.
Also, added a few pairs of pants & jeans to my rotation due to my fat arse finally shrinking.
And of course pulled some out & put in storage for when I bulk & start squatting heavy.

For all you other weight lost bros and sis you guys are doing great and motivating me to stay on track I wish I was losing more but still working out the kinks. I was eating about 1680 cals changed it to 1511 see how that works I am getting bigger muscle wise and toning up a bit but staying at same weight . Hopefully this works.

Your making me hungry. We didnt get any snow either. I live right next door to the grocery store. Hmm what yummy meal can I eat for dinner today.
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.
