    Post What are some great bodybuilding BREAKFAST foods?

    I don't feel like cooking in the morning, and I usually have a strong sweet tooth. ANy ideas?

    Bacon, eggs, smoked salmon, steak, etc. would be my preference on the rare occasions when I have a morning meal.

    If you have a sweet tooth, you might prefer a sugary cereal like the ones usually marketed to kids.

    Fruits & such.

    I usually start the day with a banana sandwich & grains + raisens/cinnamon. Or just make a boiled egg the night before & have it cold in the morning. Or a fruit salad with yoghurt on top. There are numerous options & a quick google will help on recipe ideas.

    Whatever fits your macros. If you have a sweet tooth then wake up and smash down some icecream.

    In terms of actual breakfast kinda food though, I used to have a cup of oats with a cup of Syntha-6 to make a delicious chocolate sludge. That kind of thing is really easy to make and really tasty.

    in on this thread, im having really bad breakfast meals lately and started to lose some weight. there was a time where i would have oats in the morning with low fat milk but i hated it. I stopped having it cuz it was starting to really not go down easy in the stomach. Im looking for an alternative to get going quick in the morning with something tasty and at least HALF good for body building...


    im thinking about getting icecream and just blending it with whey and lowfat milk and cut some bananas, and put some raisens

    i want something quick and easy for the morning cuz normally i wake up in a rush too.

    All the best options involve some amount of cooking. If you can't bring yourself to get that invested, then you're stuck with cold cereal, 'instant' oatmeal, or something thrown together from powder.

    Whey Protein Belgian Waffles. Make a few the night before, and just microwave for 45 seconds the next morning.

    You can throw some strawberries, bananas, and maple syrup on there too. Will satisfy you sweet tooth.

    Milk+Oats mixed in shaker and left in refrigerator. Mix in protein powder and maybe a TB of peanut butter the next morning and drink. Quick and good.

    I have a similar breakfast. I use oats and soften them up with a protein shake. Its easy, tastes good, and helps with my macros. I never feel like cooking before work.

    Small box of sugar free pudding mix
    1-2 scoops of whey of sameish flavor [Or not]
    2 cups of milk


    Whisk/Mix it. Let it set. Put in fridge. Becomes pudding. Top with whatever you want. I use Fruity Pebbles and crushed up M&M's.

    OP: I don't eat the same thing every morning, but the one constant would be a mug of black coffee. Aside that this morning was corned beef hash on a split english muffin with 2 eggs over medium on top. That being said, there is no such thing as a bodybuilding food. All foods nourish the body in different ways and these multiple ways come together to build your body.
    Short term Goal: To cut back before bulking like a demon.
    Mid term Goal: To find myself.
    Long term Goal: To get what's mine.

    67 lbs in 9 years and still counting... (started at 100lbs)

    I usually have a 3 eggs over easy, chopped up and stirred into a bowl of grits with diced bacon and 2 choco milks. Delicious.

    But yeah, agree with above, have whatever you want.

    edit: choco milk doesnt go in the grits...

    Ezekiel or some such toast w/some kind of nut butter
    apple or some such handheld fruit
    black coffee

    Just make the toast/coffee in the morning real quick. Pre-make the eggs, put in fridge. Fruit, no brainer.
