Hey guys! I'm gonna go into highschool pretty soon, and I want to play a position that I will dominate in.
Height: 6'0. Age:14
Weight:215 lbs
40 time: 5.64.
Bench:205
Squat:315
Power clean:165
Deadlift: I haven't maxed, but I do 5 sets of 10 reps with 180
In the past I played fullback, Defensive End, D-Tackle, and MLB. I only went in at FB when my team needed a few yards for the 1st or TD. They constantly switched me from DT to DE, depending where they were running. I played MLB when they were running down the middle a lot. I led my team in tackles and sacks.( 64 tackles / 18 sacks in 9 games.) Most of my tackles were at MLB, but all my sacks were at DE.
So, what position would I wreck in? Thanks guys!

Based on the fact that your 14 it means your size is definitely going to change in the next few years. You already have good size and strength, not the fastest 40 however. Personally i think 40's are overrated but its the universal way to measure everyone. I would say defensive end because you are going to grow, you could be 250lbs by your senior year if your 215 in 8th grade. Do not try to limit yourself to a certain position right now, as your body grows and changes it will help you find your position. You could also be a guard depending on your offensive scheme.
Middle school coaches always want to try to position players instead of letting their bodies and their skills determine where a kid will play later on in their career. I was a fullback/tight end in middle school. Freshman year i was a speed nose guard and middle linebacker. I ended up making all state on the offensive line having starts at center, guard, and tackle with my primary position being center. I also have 5 school records as a defensive end, and played defensive end in college.
Just focus on working hard, eating right, and training correctly. Time and your body/skill set will determine your position.

I think you should play the position that YOU think YOU would enjoy the most. Play the position that you think you would do well in and be motivated to get better at every day. Positions are not set in stone and plus you are too young for anything to matter other than just going out, enjoying yourself and working hard to get better.
