Kingnickandnate's Workout Journal
Hey everyone,
I decided to make a workout log afterall.
Now that my lifting is getting serious, i find it harder and harder to keep track of everything;
from workouts and supplements, to my diet.
It seems like everyone's logging these days - so i figured it would be good to start one myself.
I plan on updating the log as much as possible with all sorts of information relating to my overall health.
Feel free to join in, im always open to suggestions, tips, and advice.
There's always more to learn when it comes to bodybuilding.

To start off, i'll give some information about myself.
This is as of 1/21/13 :
Current Goal:
Cut down my weight until I'm comfortable and ready to bulk; bulk, then rinse and repeat.
Current Stats:
-Height: 5'4"
-Weight: 157 lbs
-Age: 18
Supplements:
-Whey Protein
-Wide range of PWO's
-Multi
-Fish oil
-Recovery supplements (occasionally)
-Fat loss supplements (occasionally)
Other:
-My workouts are all across the board. Because of schooling, i don't really know what type of workout I'm going to do until the day of. I try to do split workouts as much as possible and give myself time to recover, but restrictions on time make it difficult. As of right now, workout programs are my weak point; I'm looking forward to hearing suggestions on how to improve.
-Since I'm currently cutting, my calories are around 1600/day, and i plan on keeping it that way until it's time to bulk; then, i plan on doing a heavy calorie increase for a good bulk.
-I think I've covered the basics, other than my background. I used to be big into sports, and then it faded away for a couple years. In the last year or so i started to get into working out; and in the past couple months I've started getting serious with my lifting. I plan to continue doing what I'm doing and improve overtime.
I think that sums everything up.Last edited by kingnickandnate; 01-21-2013 at 03:42 PM.

I figured it would be worth my while to list them for a few reasons; it's easier for company reps and myself to get links, it gives people an idea of what I've tried, and it gives an idea of what type of supplements i like (for recommendations).Last edited by kingnickandnate; 01-21-2013 at 03:52 PM.

The journals are great, always nice to look back and reference routines, reps and weights you did sometime back as reference. Every little thing you can do to build motivation is well worth it!

Started out the day with my usual Fish oil, multi, and RK; and ate the usual egg, toast, and sausage, and drank down my protein of course. Since my ON whey just ran out, im starting to tackle my 10lb bag of BB whey (3 scoops/day).
Got in a decent workout today - but it was cut short. Since i worked out at the school, and we run on there time, i didn't quit get to finish. Unlike usual, i didn't take any PWO today, either.
I ended up getting in a little benching (wasn't going to do any today, but did some while rotating a spot for someone else.) Other than that my workout was:
-Shrugs:
--120x10x6
-Wrist curls(1):
--45x20x1
--45x15x4
--45x10x1
-Curl bars curls:
--65x10x2
--55x10x1
--45x10x1
--35x10x5
-Skull crushers with weight plate
--45x25x5
-Wrist curls(2):
--45x15x4
-Cardio
Also got some IA samples today

It sure did! I didn't do a whole lot, but i kept it high intensity, fast paced. And the cardio killed me, lol.
Workout:
-Weight plate
--Tris: 35x25x4
--Rows: 35x25x4
--Around the world: 35x10x4
--Presses: 35x25x4
-Push ups
--Did a big push up routine today, kept switching it up and went through 4 sets of each type. This was the majority of my workout, since i incorporated several push up techniques into it.
-Curl bar curls
--25x10x2
-Cardio
Tried out the AI PWO today - was honestly the best tasting PWO that I've had so far. Since i went to workout right after taking it and didn't give it much time, i can't really give it a nice review (I'll try it again soon), but i definitely felt the difference. Probably going to have to throw some into my next order . Other that that, supplement wise, i took my usual two scoops of whey power after my workout. I'm going to start throwing in some intra workout supps here soon as well.

In! Thanks for your positive thoughts on my thread by the way, the negs were killing me (they got all riled up over supp recommendations, acting like they have never taken supps before amiright?). I'm subbing, you will be my first subb'd log.
