Ive been trying to lift in more of a powerlifting style for the last couple of weeks. Been watching lots of vids and trying to get the hang of the form. Today i tried squatting with the bar lower on my back for the first time which was f*ckin painful and awkward lol, felt stronger though. I know i didnt go deep enough in this vid but i corrected that for the next set. Any other advise from you guys will be great.

You can always tell it's too much weight when the person holding it is shaking and looks like they're legs are going to collapse at any moment.
sit back into the squat. Try to keep your knees as stationary as possible. It's ok if they move forward a little bit.*Disregard Females Acquire Bagels crew*

Its not too heavy. I added weight the next set and went much deeper after seeing the vid. After all the powerlifting vids ive seen theres a lot to think about trying to change my form from my usual squats. It may look a bit shaky because i had the bar a lot lower than i usually do which felt very wierd. I can assure you my legs were in no danger of collapsing. Thanks for the advice though.

It was probably just the chitty music then. I couldn't squat listening to that crap either.
