Wow 2 days isn't much of a compromise. However since I'm married it would have to be done i would have to quit crossfit which is something that would be really tough and change to some kind of 2 day full body program at the gym but I would have to do some kind of body weight exercise at home to get around this and lots of lifting and throwing my 2 year old around lol , why shouldn't I be able to stay up a little later to get it in. Since i get an hour lunch, an she doesn't in would consider lunch time gym time also
Lucky for me this isn't the case my wife is a gym rat also! She chained 4 kipping pull ups for the first time yesterday!

I am not eligible to win but I would like to put my two cents in. Being married with kids. Knowing what I know it takes a lot to keep a household together and my place in our home is my #1 priority. I my training was interfering with things I need to help with around the house I would make an adjustment to my schedule. I have done it myself by getting up to train at 5am. I know my wife can't do it all and she needs help and she works full time as well. With me working full time and also going to school it puts a lot on her. So I made the adjustment. It is not easy but we both made the adjustments and compromised.

I just bought a decent point & shoot camera and have my training partner with me shoot it There's a setting in the camera that you can change to adjust to fluorescent lighting since that's what we have in the warehouse gym.
I just bought a tripod that you can hang anywhere so I don't have to have a person holding the camera. I plan to shoot more vids when I leaned up a bit and watch my formLast edited by audieswu; 02-13-2013 at 08:51 AM.

This is a hard one. I am married so I don't think divorce would come into question. On the other hand 2 days a week would also not work. To answer honestly I would probably first try to reason/make some type of compromise.
If push comes to shove I'll do workout 2 days a week where I do my upper body.
Something along the line of Chest/Triceps/Abs/Cardio Day 1
Back/ Shoulders/Biceps/Abs/Cardio Day 2
Then I'd probably be walking the dog (more like running with the dog) for extra cardio. I guess I would have to start carrying a weighted bookbag or figure out some type of leg exercise I can do while walking/playing with my dog. Sneaking I know....But hey the dog needs walking daily...Logs:

Well, considering the fact my girlfriend and I are both gym rats, and take our training seriously, these 'life things' that would impact her routines, would impact mine. These would be obvious, and not some wake up surprising demand from her. So, we would have to compensate. Training routines would be brought down to a two days a week for this temporary lifestyle change, and we would no doubtedly both train for longer periods during those sessions.
We would both strive to correct these life issues, to ensure we can get back to the training that we hold very important in our lifestyles.
In my situation I live with someone whom shares a passion for training. Although I do weight lifting, she does more of a cardio + weight mix, body combats and other body pump type routines. It keeps us sane, and young, and well... strong. We would both be suffering.
In the end here, there would be good reasoning for it.
Now, in the unlikely event there was no good reasoning for it, and she decided to just up and try to take control of my training, I would need to check her into a mental hospital, as she is no longer the woman I once knew.... And, we move on...--
